The Arc is a non-profit organization that provides resources for mentally retarded persons and their families as well as conducting research and providing legislative advocacy. On their web site users will find information about the Arc and its services and resources. Each Arc department provides publications and resources from their work, such as government reports, pamphlets discussing topics such as Aging with Mental Retardation and Family Support, and information about the Arc's newspaper. A fact sheet about disability information on the World Wide Web is also provided, as well as links to other disability web sites.
